Old, grizzled, very stern-looking. Voice is a raspy growl.
MCPD’s oldest serving officer, Walter Kowalski has been on the force since returning from service in Vietnam in the late 1960’s. The department has tried to retire him several times, but so far he has successfully resisted every attempt (mostly through the officers’ union, once through legal action). Kowalski takes a very old-scool approach to police work and has no interest in changing methods that have worked for him for so long. He’s cynical, world-weary, and sometimes prone to outbursts that violate modern standards of political correctness (toward women, ethnicities, and virtually any other sensitive topic). He sees supers mostly as bungling showoffs who get in the way of real law enforcement.
